Upgrade your BMW E9X with a custom leather steering wheel designed to improve the appearance and feel of the interior.

The combination of smooth and perforated leather creates a more comfortable grip, while contrasting stitching and a centre-position marker add a sportier finish.

Designed around the original BMW steering wheel setup, this upgrade retains the factory airbag, multifunction buttons and compatible steering wheel controls.

Description

This custom steering wheel replaces the original BMW E9X wheel frame with a premium leather performance design.

Smooth leather covers the upper and lower sections, while perforated leather hand grips provide additional texture and comfort. Contoured sides create a more substantial grip and a more driver-focused feel.

The contrasting centre-position marker and matching stitching add a distinctive motorsport-inspired detail, complemented by the M-style lower spoke badge.

The original airbag, multifunction buttons, wiring and compatible control modules must be transferred from the existing steering wheel during installation.

Where fitted, the original paddle shifters, trim panels and heating components may also need to be transferred.

Suitable for vehicles with:

A compatible original steering wheel and airbag

Original BMW multifunction steering wheel buttons

Compatible wiring and control modules

Standard, Sport, M Sport and M3 steering wheels may use different frames, airbags, trims and electrical connections. The correct version must be selected to match the original vehicle specification.

Compatibility depends on the vehicle’s model year, original airbag shape, multifunction button layout, paddle shifters and heating specification.

Professional Installation Required

For correct battery disconnection, airbag handling, component transfer and steering wheel installation, fitting must be completed by a qualified automotive technician.

Restyle can complete the installation at our HQ in Bedford.

We are not liable for airbag warning lights, damaged wiring, lost steering wheel functions or safety issues resulting from third-party installation, incorrect component transfer or selection of the wrong steering wheel version.
