Transform your BMW E9X interior with a custom carbon fibre and Alcantara steering wheel featuring an integrated LED display.

Designed with contoured hand grips, a gloss carbon fibre upper section and carbon fibre spoke trim, this upgrade creates a more modern and performance-focused driving environment.

The integrated display provides supported live vehicle information and progressive shift lights, while the original BMW airbag and multifunction controls are retained.

Description

This custom steering wheel combines premium Alcantara with gloss carbon fibre and an integrated LED performance display.

Alcantara covers the hand grips and lower section for a tactile, secure feel. The carbon fibre upper section and spoke trim create a sharper appearance, complemented by contrasting stitching and M styling.

The built-in LED display can show supported live vehicle data such as speed, engine RPM and temperature information. Progressive shift lights illuminate across the top of the wheel as engine speed increases, providing a clear visual indication when driving.

Available display functions depend on the vehicle, engine, transmission and selected steering wheel configuration.

The original round M Sport airbag, multifunction buttons, wiring and compatible control modules must be transferred from the existing steering wheel during installation.

Where fitted, the original paddle shifters and other electrical components may also need to be transferred.

Suitable for vehicles with:

A compatible round M Sport-style airbag

Original BMW multifunction steering wheel buttons

Compatible wiring and vehicle electronics

This steering wheel is designed around the round M Sport-style airbag shown. Vehicles fitted with the standard triangular airbag may require a compatible round airbag, buttons, trim and additional components.

Standard, Sport, M Sport and M3 models can use different airbags, wiring connections, paddle shifters and control modules. The correct version must be selected for the vehicle.

The LED display requires connection to the vehicle’s electrical and data systems. Supported information may vary depending on the model year, engine and vehicle specification.

Professional Installation Required

Restyle can complete the installation at our HQ in Bedford.

We are not liable for airbag warning lights, damaged wiring, display faults, lost steering wheel functions or safety issues resulting from third-party installation, incorrect wiring or selection of the wrong steering wheel version.
