Transform your BMW E9X interior with a carbon fibre and Alcantara steering wheel featuring an integrated LED display and matching Alcantara-trimmed airbag centre.

The combination of gloss carbon fibre, premium Alcantara and carbon fibre spoke trim creates a modern, performance-focused design while retaining compatible BMW controls.

An integrated display with progressive shift lights brings live performance information directly into the driver’s line of sight.

Description

This custom steering wheel combines premium Alcantara hand grips with gloss carbon fibre upper and lower sections, carbon fibre spoke trim and a flat-bottom design.

A contrasting centre-position marker, matching stitching and M styling complete the appearance, while extended carbon fibre paddle shifters provide an additional motorsport-inspired detail where selected.

The matching airbag centre is professionally trimmed in Alcantara with contrasting stitching, creating a coordinated finish across the complete steering wheel.

The original compatible airbag safety module, multifunction buttons, wiring and control modules must be transferred during installation. The Alcantara finish applies to the visible airbag cover and does not replace the vehicle’s safety system.

The integrated LED display can show supported live vehicle information such as speed, engine RPM and temperature data. Progressive shift lights illuminate as engine speed increases.

Available display functions depend on the vehicle’s model year, engine, transmission and selected steering wheel configuration.

Suitable for vehicles with:

A compatible round M Sport-style airbag

Original BMW multifunction steering wheel controls

Compatible wiring and vehicle electronics

Standard, Sport, M Sport and M3 vehicles can use different airbags, buttons, wiring connections, paddle shifters and control modules.

This wheel and Alcantara airbag finish are designed around the compatible round M Sport-style airbag. Vehicles fitted with the standard triangular airbag may require additional conversion components.

The LED display requires connection to the vehicle’s electrical and data systems. Supported information may vary depending on the vehicle specification.

Professional Installation Required

Due to the safety-critical airbag components and additional LED wiring, this product must be professionally installed by Restyle.

The original compatible airbag module and steering wheel controls will be transferred and tested during installation.

This configuration is available for installation at Restyle HQ in Bedford. Airbag assemblies are not supplied or shipped separately.

We are not liable for airbag warning lights, damaged wiring, display faults, lost steering wheel functions or safety issues resulting from unauthorised third-party installation or modification.
